Hazel Court is a new-build five storey building in London. The scope of works included the design, fabrication and installation of all elements of the exterior facade including the porcelain and bronze stainless steel cladding panels, capping stones and aluminium subframe system.

Initially, the project called for 40mm thick natural Moleanos stone. However, considering the building's loading requirements, our team specified the use of our 30mm lightweight Cristolite panel with Moleanos stone veneer. This adjustment not only met the structural needs but also ensured that the aesthetic integrity of the design was preserved. Following a budget review, we proposed an even more cost-effective solution: a 15mm Moleaons-look porcelain panel that mimicked the desired appearance while maintaining equivalent technical performance and reducing overall weight.

To achieve the desired Moleanos-effect, the porcelain panels were manufactured in a custom colourway, ensuring that the facade retained the timeless elegance of natural stone. Additionally, we incorporated custom bronze-coated stainless steel panels, which added depth, interest, and character to the building's exterior. This thoughtful combination of materials not only enhanced the visual appeal of Hazel Court but also ensured durability and performance.
